No manual travel journal required
You do not have to check in at every stop. Install WHIB, grant Always location access and confirm tracking is active before departure. Place names require a data connection to resolve; if one is missing, reconnect and open WHIB later.

Your history stays on your iPhone or in your own iCloud backup, not on WHIB's servers. There is no public travel feed and no need to share your route with anyone.
Start before the trip
WHIB cannot recreate journeys from before it was installed, and it does not import Google Maps Timeline or another app's history. Set it up before the first day you want recorded.
Keep the whole journey
The free version lets you view your most recent three weeks. A WHIB subscription unlocks your entire recorded history. After WHIB has recorded a day, open Settings → Premium Content to review monthly and yearly options at Apple's current prices.
