Getting started
Make sure your first day gets remembered.
Before relying on WHIB for a workday or a trip, check these settings and confirm that your history is recording.
Offers in-app subscriptions. See current options in the app.
1. Give WHIB the permissions it needs
In iPhone Settings, find WHIB. Confirm Location access is set to Always, Motion & Fitness is enabled, and Background App Refresh is on. Open WHIB and make sure tracking is enabled.
2. Go about your day, then check your history
Visit a few places as you normally would. Open WHIB afterward to review the location history it recorded. Don't wait until you need a timesheet or a travel memory to discover tracking was off.
3. Resolve your places
If the app shows “Resolving Crumbs,” connect to the internet and open Settings → Crumbs. Keep the app open while the backlog resolves. If the history is still incomplete, use Refresh Crumb Calculations.
4. Keep a backup
Your history is stored on your device. If you choose to use iCloud backup, enable it under WHIB Settings → iCloud and check that Last backup updates successfully. Do not delete or reinstall the app before confirming a backup. Avoid backing up two devices to the same iCloud account.
5. Keep older days within reach
Try recalling a real client visit or a place you want to revisit. The free version lets you view and analyze your most recent three weeks of recorded history. A subscription unlocks your entire recorded history.
To upgrade, open WHIB Settings → Premium Content, tap Purchase, and review the monthly or yearly option and its current Apple price. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. If you already subscribe, use Restore on the same screen with the Apple Account you originally purchased with.
